Literary guided tour on March 15, 2026, 2 pm, in the exhibition "Four Coaches, One Kingdom".
As rulers of the extensive British kingdom from 1714, the Guelphs also benefited as a maritime and colonial power - particularly through colonies in Africa, America, India and Australia. The personal union with Great Britain between 1714 and 1837 also brought colonial treasures to Hanover, the electoral "residence city without a ruler".
The literary composer and reciter Marie Dettmer will take you on an exciting journey through time - also through a piece of Hanoverian-British history.
