From the side of the community
It was almost 20 years ago when three young country bumpkins obsessed with hip hop music decided to escape their provincial origins musically. They founded the hip hop formation LA Splisz and relatively quickly attracted astonished glances in the lowlands of the Tyrolean Oberland and slowly gained the attention of the local scene.
Over the next few years, the band escaped their Tyrolean homeland, and not just musically. Now based in Vienna, a wide variety of projects were tackled and realized.
In 2014, Yo!Zepp, Chrisfader and Testa presented their unusual dialect project 'Von Seiten der Gemeinde' to the public for the first time.
The album, which was produced for some insiders, quickly developed into a highly acclaimed hit for the three musicians and was nominated for an Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the
FM4 Award category. The follow-up "State of Gmeind" was released in 2017 and won the Tyrolean Jazz Award. In addition to the two collaboration
projects "Pfau EP" and "Pfau EP 2" with fellow rappers "Da Kessl" from 2020 and 2024, the third studio album "Almen aus Plastik" was released in 2022.

The Tyrolean dialect legends continue to set fire to the province with their brand new album. At a time when reality seems to be overtaking satire at breakneck speed, Yo!Zepp, Chrisfader and Testa are back with their fourth studio album
"Burn Down Pavillon", they share their relentless reappraisal of village and world events in their usual manner. Together with old heroes and new gems from the regional local radio stations, Von Seiten der Gemeinde comment on the political and social developments of recent years and see only a way out.
