Von Wandermenschen und Sofamenschen. Judith Kuckart/Tanztheaters Skoronel Reloaded

In the organizer's words:

On the eve of the premiere at the Pina Bausch Center, Judith Kuckart and the dance theater Skoronel Reloaded present their artistic research project in the reading room of the Heinrich Heine Institute: What is nomadic life? A sign of uprootedness or independence? What if the nomadic existence is a forced one? Which current catastrophes or individual grief can still be conquered from the southern end of the sofa? Is lying down peace or cowardice? Four experienced dancers and four aspiring young academics make their individual and joint results of an interdisciplinary and intergenerational research project public. The choreographic approach is just as important as the narrative one.

Moderation: Dr. Jasmin Grande, Heinrich Heine University

Performance: Pau Aran, Noah Dahm, Anastasia Hamm, Frank Herfeld, Katharina Krauss, Judith Kuckart, Frida Stach, Sabina Stücker, Erika Winkler

Co-produced with the Pina Bausch Center under construction, the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf in collaboration with the University of Wuppertal.
