With her soulful voice, passionate stage presence and impressive combination of vocals and piano, Vonda Shepard has been thrilling audiences for decades - in spring 2026, the US musician is going on another major European tour and will of course be stopping off in Germany!
As always, she will be accompanied by her outstanding all-star band: James Ralston on guitar (22 years with Tina Turner), Jim Hanson on bass (Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash) and Fritz Lewak on drums (30 years with Jackson Browne). Together they bring a rousing mix to the stage - with songs from Vonda's 14 studio albums, popular classics from the Ally McBeal era and brand new pieces.

Vonda is particularly looking forward to the dates in Germany, where a loyal and steadily growing fan community has developed in recent years. "It almost feels like a reunion with the family - the energy is incredible every time!" she says enthusiastically.

"I love sitting down at the piano, playing a few songs solo - and then really getting going with my band. At the end, it should be a big party where nobody stays seated and everyone sings along! I'm really looking forward to having new songs in my luggage, because I'm currently working on a new album, which is due to be released in spring 2026. As things stand, it's shaping up to be something BIG! Recording starts in May," Vonda continues.

Vonda Shepard was born in New York City in 1963 into an artistic family. She started playing the piano at the age of six, wrote her first songs at eight and performed on stage for the first time at 14. She originally dreamed of a career as an astrophysicist - but after her first performance as a musician, it was clear that music was her world.

From 1985, Vonda toured as a backing singer and keyboardist with Rickie Lee Jones, Al Jarreau and Jackson Browne, for whose tour she opened as a solo artist for the first time in 1996. She made her international breakthrough in 1997 with her role as a bar singer in the cult series Ally McBeal. She landed a worldwide hit with the title song Searchin' My Soul - in total, she contributed over 500 songs to the series.

To date, Vonda Shepard has sold over 12 million albums, won two Golden Globes, two Emmys and two Screen Actors Guild Awards and holds the Billboard record for the best-selling TV soundtrack of all time.
