The dream of many rock n roll fans is to experience the Rolling Stones up close and personal at a concert. However, very few are granted this opportunity. The Braunschweig tribute band Voodoo Lounge shows how it could be. In the twenty-five years of its existence, the band led by charismatic singer Christian "Bobby" Ballasch has earned a reputation as the best Rolling Stones cover band in Europe. With over a thousand performances in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and Italy, they have won over countless fans - from "normal" concert-goers to die-hard Stones specialists. With their infectious joy of playing, the band succeeds in capturing the atmosphere of a concert by their great idols in an inimitable way and transferring it to the audience. Well-known classics such as "Honky Tonk Women" and "Street Fighting Man" inspire just as much as the pearls of the "hardest rock band of all time" that are only known to insiders. Satisfaction is guaranteed: Singer Bobby Ballasch's astonishing resemblance to the young Mick Jagger and the band's raw vintage sound send the audience on a journey back in time to the 60s and 70s, transforming the evening from a simple concert into a real experience.
