VORLESESPASS! Ehrenamtliche Mitarbeiter*innen lesen vor

It is scientifically known that more than a third of one to eight-year-old children in Germany are never or only rarely read to, yet listening to books read aloud is great fun! But that's not all: stories read aloud stimulate the imagination, help to process feelings and promote concentration. That's why the city library offers an open reading session for children every second and fourth Saturday of the month. Our volunteers wait in the children's area of the library and are happy to read from the wide range of books in the library. We ask that children are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
