Soil is life. If it is healthy, it provides us with food, clean water and binds more CO2 than the rainforest. Nevertheless, there seems to be no limit to the destruction caused by unsustainable land use in favor of individual interests. It is time to ask ourselves what future generations should live on. A system change is needed that focuses on the careful use of soil and other natural resources. We need a change in diet - and it starts on our own doorstep.

This is what the BioBoden cooperative stands for. Founded in 2015, the BioBoden cooperative now has over 7,300 members. They have contributed capital of over 65 million euros. Partners from the organic food industry and the sustainable economy also contribute to the cooperative's success with their support. As a result, more than 5,000 hectares of land have been secured for 90 organic farms. At the event, BioBoden CEO Jasper Holler will explain to us how this works and what opportunities and challenges lie in the soil.
