ENG: Ukraine gave me strength, Berlin gave me freedom – that pretty much sums up my creative path as a musician. Born in Dnipro, I’ve called Berlin home for over 11 years, both for life and for music.

Vyka is a music project I launched in spring 2023 with the release of my self-produced debut EP. It was supported by Initiative Musik (a German government grant), received strong radio airplay (DLF Nova, Radio COSMO, NDR Blue), and live exposure at events such as FluxFM’s Bergfest, MTV Music Week, and ZDF TV.

When postpunk.com reviewed my single “One of Many”, they described me as an art-pop act – and that probably fits best.Often compared to Kate Bush or Tori Amos, in my music I blend pop, indie, and rock, layered with dreamy synths, chorusy guitars, and catchy hooks. Visuals play a big role in my work –  – they help bring the stories behind the music to life.

Most recently my band and I opened for American indie rock band Beach Weather and performed at a prime time slot at Most Wanted:Music showcase in Berlin.

PANDA Platforma was a place where we celebrated release of my second EP Homesick with a sold-out show. It was emotional, loud, messy and unforgettable. This time I’m celebrating my birthday on stage with lots of good music and special guests.

DE: Ukraine gab mir Stärke, Berlin gab mir Freiheit — das fasst meinen kreativen Weg als Musikerin ziemlich gut zusammen. Geboren in Dnipro, nenne ich Berlin seit über elf Jahren mein Zuhause — im Leben wie auch in der Musik.

Vyka ist ein Musikprojekt, das ich im Frühjahr 2023 mit der Veröffentlichung meiner selbstproduzierten Debüt-EP gestartet habe. Diese wurde durch Initiative Musik (eine Förderung der Bundesregierung) unterstützt, erhielt starke Radioairplay auf DLF Nova, Radio COSMO und NDR Blue und führte zu Live-Auftritten bei Formaten wie FluxFM’s Bergfest, MTV Music Week und im ZDF.

Als postpunk.com meine Single „One of Many“ rezensierte, bezeichneten sie mich als Art-Pop-Act – und das trifft es wahrscheinlich ganz gut. Oft mit Kate Bush oder Tori Amos verglichen, verbindet meine Musik Pop, Indie und Rock, geprägt von verträumten Synths, chorusgetränkten Gitarren und eingängigen Hooks. Visuals spielen dabei eine große Rolle – sie helfen dabei, die Geschichten hinter der Musik zum Leben zu erwecken.

Zuletzt eröffnete meine Band gemeinsam mit mir für die amerikanische Indie-Rock-Band Beach Weather und spielte einen Primetime-Slot beim Showcase-Festival Most Wanted:Music in Berlin.Im PANDA Platforma feierten wir außerdem die Veröffentlichung meiner zweiten EP Homesick mit einer ausverkauften Show — emotional, laut, chaotisch und unvergesslich.

Dieses Mal feiere ich meinen Geburtstag auf der Bühne – mit viel guter Musik und besonderen Gästen.Feiert mit uns!
