Wagram Stories Soirée: Bonheur Record Release with KALK¥L ft. Laventure presented by untoldency, EINEN HAB ICH NOCH and Wagram Stories Berlin

Wagram Stories Berlin celebrates the release of indie band Bonheur 's debut album on October 17thwith the second Wagram Stories Soirée at Berlin's Schokoladen. The Mannheim duo KALK¥L will open the evening together with French singer Laventure . Wagram Stories Berlin is the German office of Wagram Stories, one of the top three independent music companies in France.

Inspired by indie greats such as The National, Radiohead, Grizzly Bear, Bon Iver and Klangstof, the Stuttgart and Berlin-based indie band Bonheur has created its very own sound. Originally known as Into the Fray, the quartet has been making music together for more than five years and has already played over 100 live gigs. In their songs, they tell stories of growing up in today's society and take a critical look at toxic masculinity, mental health and the ups and downs of life in your twenties. Their debut album Sometimes It Hurts, But That's Okay will be released on October 18, 2024. The album's singles have already been featured in the newcomer formats of rbb Fritz, FluxFM, BR Puls and ByteFM, as well as in the Spotify playlists Fresh Finds GSA and Indie Brandneu. With ten songs full of defiant, electric guitar sounds, bass, drums and a soothing keyboard, Bonheur create a dreamy soundscape - full of indie nostalgia and lethargy.

The Mannheim-based songwriting/producing duo KALK¥L not only caused a stir on Bandcamp as a New & Notable Artist (2022) with their debut EP Lazy Sunday Tapes, but were also regularly heard on Deutschlandfunk Nova, Flux FM and Radio Fritz. This summer, KALK¥L is releasing the collab EP Only Way to Catch Me in collaboration with French artist Laventure . The tracks combine indie and retro soul to create a warm, inviting sound that is both familiar and refreshingly new.
