We meet at the main station in Halle and travel together to Kleinjena, where the actual tour starts. From the train stop, we first walk through the picturesque village and then take a variant of the Way of St. James up to Großwilsdorf. From there, we head across a wide plain directly into the "Tote Täler" nature reserve - a natural area that is unparalleled in our region, with meadows of wild orchids and an old, enchanted forest that is rarely found nowadays. Once we have hiked through this, we can really immerse ourselves in a world full of orchids: various species of orchid and ragwort are already in bloom along the orchid trail at this time of year. The paved path leads us through the most beautiful locations and allows us to look out into the beautiful landscape from time to time. But that's not all. On the "Rödel", as the wide plateau near Freyburg is called, there is another absolute attraction to discover: a herd of wild horses that have made the prairie-like area their home and, with a bit of luck, can be observed up close. We then head back down the beautiful paths and return to Kleinjena. And from there, full of overwhelming impressions, we start our journey home.
The variety of natural wonders certainly makes this tour one of the most beautiful you can do in the Saale-Unstrut region. Due to access restrictions in some of the natural areas we hike through, the number of participants on this tour is limited to 13 people.

My preference: quiet paths, ancient places of power, the most beautiful views. I would like to share my passion with you here and invite you to come with me - into the breathtaking, mysterious and beautiful nature on your doorstep. I look forward to seeing you there!
