The diversity of nature and the traces of life characterize the works of textile artist Julia Hühne-Simon. Under the title "WAS SICH ZEIGT", the Kunstkreis Schenefeld is presenting her textile and mixed-media-based paintings, objects and assemblages made of wool, silk and a wide variety of fabrics and fibers from June 5 to July 12, 2026. Experimental material combinations, tactile surfaces and the deliberate exploration of texture and depth open up multi-layered spaces. They tell of organic forms and structures that unfold, grow and transform.
The pictorial and object worlds invite discovery and raise questions - about the interconnectedness of all life and man's responsibility towards his natural environment.
