WDC-Pavillon in Wiesbaden: Claim the space - FLINTA* Design-Workshop

Together, we create public retreats and meeting places for FLINTA*. In our workshops, we explore feel-good places and safe spaces, consider where and how we want to occupy space and build prototypical places in public spaces with flexible materials. Through exchange, networking and participatory design, community is created according to our needs, which strengthens presence, initiative and empowerment.

The collective "Das Fliegende S" designs (im)material spaces and participatory processes with a focus on social and ecological sustainability. At the interface of art, design, urban research and social practice, we develop formats such as situational and open-ended interactions and experimental construction, using specially developed methods of performative, speculative design to make spatial potential visible and involve people in low-threshold creative processes.
