WDR 2 Weihnachtwunder 2025

Be there live when @wdr2 transforms Burgplatz in Essen into a large radio studio for the largest fundraising event in the West 🎉 You can expect live concerts, comedy, numerous celebrity visits and great emotions, which we want to experience together with you on these 5 special days!

From Saturday, December 13, you can experience the WDR 2 moderation team, Sabine Heinrich, Steffi Neu, Thomas Bug and Jan Malte Andresen presenting live at from 10 am. Until Wednesday, December 17 , the WDR 2 moderation team will be broadcasting for you around the clock from the glass studio, right next door to the Essen International Christmas Market. 🎧

In addition to the many initiatives that will be able to hand in their donations in person at the Glashaus again this year, we are expecting great musical guests and many celebrities who have already announced their intention to support this year's Christmas miracle and experience the goosebump moments live on site.
