In the nitz-porzellan studio in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen, the essence of form and gesture are shown in close proximity to each other as part of the Open Design Week Frankfurt. The exhibition relates the reduced, sensual porcelain vessels of ceramic designer Sandra Nitz to the dynamic, gestural works of painter Carsten Fock.

Porcelain meets processual painting. The combination of craftsmanship, material and artistic practice results in works that move between permanence and openness. The result is a space of tension between closeness and distance, stillness and movement - condensed in the idea WE HERE.
