Like a Stirling! - 80s Party Vol. 2

Art, sounds & retro look: 2026 will be a special year for the Staatsgalerie. Before the building enters the renovation phase at the end of 2026, we invite you to experience our collection in all its diversity for another year! That's why we're celebrating the 100th birthday of James Stirling - the architect of our iconic museum building - under the motto "Like a Stirling!", with Madonna's top hit still ringing in your ears.

With legendary 80s hits from hip DJs, including Jens Herzberg, we will dance together with you on our green nubby floor during the weekend warm-up, while "Cicerones" and "Walking Acts" provide the right amount of art with declarations of love to our masterpieces.

Dress code? No can do, no can do! From blow-dried hair to aerobic outfits - shoulder pads are allowed again this evening. You shouldn't miss our 80s Party Volume 2!
