In the organizer's words:
Tue, 07.07.2026 - 19:30-21:30 - Oval Office (Schauspielhaus Bochum)
What actually helps against the feeling of not really arriving?
Many young adults are familiar with this: studying, training, starting a career, a new stage in life - and yet connection sometimes feels far away. On this evening, we will look together at what can help. Concrete, suitable for everyday life, without a therapeutic setting.
The evening will be led by Saiman Mehra from the Psychological Counseling Service at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. It is about tools and strategies that work in everyday life - and about a space in which people can listen, classify and share.
Young adults in particular are invited: students, trainees, career starters and anyone who is familiar with the topic.
The workshop is part of our workshop against loneliness from July 6 to 8 at Schauspielhaus Bochum. Organized by Vereint Bochum e. V., a non-profit association in Bochum that wants to create spaces for more togetherness in Bochum. More offers of this week can be found here.
Free admission. Registration required at events@vereintbochum.de.
Also come to our grand finale: Who likes us offline? on July 8th at 7:30 pm in the Kammerspiele of the Schauspielhaus Bochum. Tickets are available here.
Note: The Oval Office is unfortunately not barrier-free.
