From 06.07. to 08.07. we will be holding a workshop against loneliness at the Schauspielhaus in Bochum. One of our offers this week is about the question of what can help when you feel lonely or realize that you lack real connection in everyday life.
The workshop is primarily aimed at young adults, but anyone who feels addressed by the topic is invited. Students, trainees, people in transition, people who are sorting out their future or simply know the feeling of not feeling really connected.
The evening will be led by Saiman Mehra from the Psychological Student Advisory Service at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. It is about concrete ways out of loneliness, about tools and strategies that can work in everyday life. Not a therapeutic setting but an open space for exchange with experts who can listen, classify and give advice.
We are Vereint Bochum e. V., a non-profit association from Bochum. We campaign for more togetherness in the city and against loneliness. To this end, we create spaces where people can come into contact with each other more easily. Sometimes on walks, sometimes in discussion groups, sometimes at events like this one.
Participation is free of charge. Registration is required.
Please note: The Oval Office is unfortunately not barrier-free.
