RAZORS + RUBBERMAIDS + HARBOR REBELS
We'll Burn The Baum Down 16.0
Since their foundation in 1977 as one of the first Hamburg punk bands, the RAZORS have been among the forefathers of punk rock in Germany and have always been musically oriented towards UK punk.
Legendary appearances at "Krawall 2000" and at the "Geräusche für die 80er" festival in Hamburg's Markthalle brought the Razors their first fame.
As there was still no music label interested in the punk genre at the end of the seventies, the RAZORS produced their first single "Christ Child" themselves in 1979 with borrowed money - DYI! Their first album "RAZORS" and their second single "Low Down Kids" followed in 1980.
After countless concerts, singer Danker and bassist Feller left the band in the early eighties, which led to a long break. By a lucky coincidence, the band got back together in the early 2000s and played an unforgettable concert at the Kulturfabrik Kampnagel in Hamburg in 2003.
Many more concerts followed, including with other big names in the scene such as the UK Subs, The Damned and Cock Sparrer.
After several line-up changes and interruptions, the RAZORS have been active again for around 20 years and today consist of the founding members Gott (drums) and Danker (vocals). In 2018 Christiane (GERD, among others) joined as bassist and in 2020 Stefan "Stoffel" Jenkel (Yacopsae, among others) on guitar.
Razors still stand for raw sound, anger and energy. Fun and beer are of course also included. In summer 2021 the EP "New Trash" was released on La Pochette Surprise Records.
RUBBERMAIDS
The Rubbermaids were a punk rock band from Hamburg founded in 1986. They were characterized by their polyphonic choral singing.
