Bloodstrings BLOODSTRINGS from Aachen have been performing on stages around the world since 2013. Their distinctive sound—which combines the raw fury of punk rock with the lightheartedness of rock ’n’ roll, while breaking new ground and defying both clichés and expectations regarding the guitar and double bass—makes the band just as unique as singer Celina’s voice. While The Bloodstrings originally had their roots in horrorbilly, in recent years they have evolved into a political punk ’n’ roll band that sometimes invites you to party and other times tackles serious issues. After nearly 10 years as a band, they can proudly claim to have revolutionized the “punkabilly” genre. LÜT The year is 2014, and the Tromsø-based band, which would eventually be named LÜT, was born in hermetically sealed “boys’ rooms” where hormones and teenage anxieties flowed freely. The result is polished and distinctive rock that thrills fans from both the underground and mainstream scenes. Ten years have passed. Have the fears subsided, the shoulders slumped, and the beats softened? Not at all. The world continues to be attacked with sharp claws, haunting melodies, and hard-hitting lyrics.
