In the organizer's words:

Exhibition of student work from the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences

Can theater be climate-neutral and sustainable? Our production "eure paläste sind leer (all we ever wanted)" is a pilot project, as we are intensively considering and practically testing whether and how climate neutrality can be achieved in a production. What challenges do the artists and staff face? Are there areas where CO2 emissions are particularly high? For the first time, carbon footprints were drawn up for two previous theater years, from which important insights were gained. These were the starting point for a course at the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences. "What the world needs now. Climate infographics at the theater" was the title of a seminar led by Lisa Bucher, Professor of Information and Image in the Department of Design. The students developed ideas for illustrative infographics to present the topic of climate neutrality in general, the concrete attempt in particular and the very personal responsibility of each and every individual to the theater audience. We will present the visually inspiring results in the exhibition accompanying the production, which will be officially opened on May 18 in the foyer of the Reithalle.

We would like to invite you to take part in this project and look forward to welcoming you in line with the motto: #ohneautoinstheater
