This year we would like to put you in the mood for the Christmas season with a concert for the 1st Advent and light up the dark sky with sonorous stars!

The program ranges from well-known old works like "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen" by Praetorius to Grieg's "Ave maris stella" and compositions by Ola Gjeilo to "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas" by Sharon.

Let yourself be enchanted by different interpretations of "O magnum mysterium" and by the Christmas medley of the cantaminis, who are participating for the first time!

This time the concert will take place in a modern church with wonderful acoustics, opened in 1962, built among other things according to plans by Hermann Fehling, a student of Hans Scharoun.

Excerpts from the concert program will be heard again on Sunday, December 3, as part of the Zeitklang cultural service in the Neuköllner Kulturkirche Nikodemus.
