Ohnsorg comedy in Low German

The Ohnsorg Theater humorously tells the story of a special kind of generational conflict. The contemporary conversational comedy based on the successful movie "Wir sind die Neuen" (We are the newcomers) captivates with its brilliant, pointed yet always credible dialog.

Singles Anne, Eddie and Johannes, who have all reached early retirement age, decide, partly for financial reasons, to revive their old flat-sharing community from their university days and move back in together after several decades of more or less successful professional life.

Their new neighbors, students Barbara, Katharina and Thorsten, soon feel disturbed in their studies by the party-loving old hippies, complain about the noise pollution caused by the jolly "oldsters" and insist on meticulous compliance with the house rules. The old people are amazed at the youngsters' conformity and stuffiness. The tide only turns when the old people lend a helping hand to their young neighbors, who are suffering from back pain and exam stress.
