The history of the New Synagogue is linked in many ways to the life and fate of the Jews in Hanover. Several generations gathered here to pray and to proclaim God's word, carrying joys and sorrows from birth to death.

From 1933, the New Synagogue was also a venue for lectures, concerts and cultural events until its destruction by the National Socialists in November 1938.

Free admission. Registration is not required.

The event is being held in cooperation with the Lister Turm district center and the Kulturkirche Markuskirche.
