Wi(e)der die Waffen: eine Theatertour in den ehemaligen Deutschen Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken

The Theater Expedition takes the audience on a journey down forgotten paths through the historic grounds of the German Arms and Ammunition Factories (DWM). During both world wars, the company supplied German soldiers with military equipment.

During the performances of “Wi(e)der die Waffen,” the ensemble shares stories and anecdotes in a playful, humorous blend of site-specific theater and a guided walk. The program features voices from both the past and present—including people connected to the site, poets, and philosophers. History blends with fiction, and contemporary themes intertwine with local and world history. A theater experience like no other!
