Wild Wood & Spark

When Wildes Holz meets the sparks of Spark, the result is "Mächtig Zunder". The fiery exchange of blows between the two groups takes them through all eras and genres: from Bach to the Backstreet Boys and back! Sometimes the three recorders take off in close harmony style to "Mr. Sandman", then there are jazz tirades à la Charlie Parker. Spark sweeps a baroque concerto off the stage and Wildes Holz embarks on the highway to hell. The sound spectrum that the two bands conjure out of their hats seems to know no bounds: Minimal music by Michael Nyman, laid-back Italo swing, well-known titles from the classical repertoire, a Chinese 80s pop song, a grooving 90s medley, hits by the Beatles or the Doors and, of course, plenty of their own pieces.
