Wilfried Schmickler is one of the last greats of German political cabaret. For over 45 years, he has been dissecting the absurdities of our time, big and small, with merciless precision, poetic acuity and unmistakable wit. Sometimes thunderous, sometimes quiet, sometimes subtle - always spot on.

Awarded the Prix Pantheon, German Cabaret Prize, German Cabaret Prize and Salzburger Stier, he stands for uncompromising cabaret like no other. Many know him from the WDR-Mitternachtsspitzen or from his "Monday Question" on WDR 2.

Now he is coming to the Bürgerhaus Hürth with his new program "Der tut's noch". An evening that promises to deliver what cabaret is supposed to: clever, wicked, highly topical - and full of the joy of language.
