William the Conqueror—comprising frontman Ruarri Joseph, bassist Naomi Holmes, and drummer Harry Harding—released their fourth album, *Excuse Me While I Vanish*, in 2023. The ten tracks on the album—produced by the band in a studio filled with vintage gear and mixed by Barny Barnicott (Arctic Monkeys, Sam Fender, Kasabian), combine catchy melodies with powerful, imposing, soaring rock arrangements, underscored by chorus hooks that are both nuanced and anthemic. William The Conqueror’s live performances have drawn enthusiastic comparisons to Kings of Leon, Nirvana, Buffalo Tom, and The Marshall Tucker Band.
