Simple & poignant - The farewell tour 2024

There are a few, few bands whose songs awaken a certain feeling in you - that feel like coming home. So familiar and good, that pick you up and comfort you, move you and ask you to dance, kick you in the ass when necessary and remind you of what really matters. This kind of band is WINGENFELDER - the two brothers Kai & Thorsten and their musicians, who have been delighting fans with their small and large musical snapshots of life for over 13 years now.

But as the saying goes: "When it's at its best, you should stop." A fantastic journey with friends, fans and companions is now coming to an end. It's time to say thank you once again and bring this extraordinary chapter of WINGENFELDER to an end after more than 13 years. WINGENFELDER will start their big farewell tour in November 2024. With their full band, the two brothers will once again take to the stage together. WINGENFELDER say goodbye and say - quite simply: "Bye!"

WINGENFELDER celebrate more than a decade with a total of 7 albums and over 100,000 records together with their fans and draw a consistently positive conclusion, as usual unagitated, natural and approachable. With "Sieben Himmel hoch" they reached #9 in the German charts and with "Wenn die Zeit kommt" the brothers have perhaps delivered Germany's most beautiful Christmas song. Personal impressions of experiences and feelings - without compromise - summarized in good stories. With their wonderful episodes for optimists - and also for doubters, who can simply allow themselves to dream again and drink life in.
Last but not least, WINGENFELDER have played countless big, small, acoustic and totally rocked-out shows. And always told their stories from their own back pocket with lots of words and music. Springsteen was on Broadway. WINGENFELDER have been to Bochum, Bremen, Stralsund and Sauerland. Basically everywhere. And their fans were everywhere.

The legendary WINGENFELDER trio has become a quartet, which will also delight fans acoustically at various individual dates in the summer of 2024 before the farewell tour.
"Throughout the year, we will provide you with new and old clips, stories and pictures and are really looking forward to celebrating these wonderful Wingenfelder years with you all once again," Thorsten Wingenfelder comments on the planned farewell. "It was an honor to play for you. It has been a wonderful celebration and a truly great journey...and now we say it: plain and simple."
