Winterkonzerte SymphonING - Brahms trifft Avantgarde

In the organizer's words:

SymphonING, the orchestra in the south of Hamburg, will kick off 2026 on the first weekend in February: With Johannes Brahms' symphonic work, the orchestra brings a real highlight of romantic orchestral literature to the stage. In the second half of the concert, we will then encounter some of the musical greats of the 20th century. But don't be afraid of "new music"! Because Dimitri Shostakovich, Alfred Schnittke and co. were not only part of the musical avant-garde of their time, but were also pioneers of film music. Mauricio Kagel was also avant-garde, whose 10 Marches to Miss Victory may be extremely difficult to march to - but listening is no problem!

We look forward to your visit - on February 7 and 8, both at 18:00!
Free admission to the concerts, the orchestra is happy to receive donations.
