Wintervergnügen Norderstedt

This year, Norderstedt Wintervergnügen, the small, cozy alternative to the large tourist Christmas markets, will once again take place on the square in front of the Deutsche Post in Norderstedt.

Local residents and customers will find regional products, fairly produced goods and lots of activities with and for children. In the immediate vicinity of Rathausallee and the Norderstedt-Mitte subway station, this creates a central winter meeting place for young and old. On many evenings, visitors can enjoy a musical program to accompany the "after-work mulled wine". The central aim of this wintery, Christmassy meeting place is also to support charitable campaigns and institutions together with exhibitors and visitors of all ages.

The program includes carousel rides and cocoa drinking, craft afternoons, wish list activities and much more. Only regional and fairly produced products are offered in the market's nostalgic wooden huts. "The increasing awareness of sustainable quality of life, which is very pronounced in the population, has inspired us to create a winter pleasure that focuses on precisely this". For example, visitors can choose between organic mulled wine, eco-certified Bodden punch, homemade apple punch and cocoa made from real chocolate from a Hamburg chocolate manufacturer. There will also be sweet and savory treats - always with a regional touch wherever possible.

The "4th Wintervergnügen Norderstedt" goes back to an initiative of PACT Norderstedt-Mitte in 2018. Neighborhood manager Thomas Will is delighted about the renewed winter hot spot with a feel-good character in the center of Norderstedt.
