On March 3, 2026, the Equal Opportunities Office of the City of Bielefeld and the Bunker Ulmenwall e.V. invite you to a special evening that brings together humor and music.

We celebrate International Women's Day

Look forward to feminist comedy by Melissa Schmidt and a performance by the Feminist Discomfort Collective (FUK). Melissa Schmidt is an actress and lives in Berlin. Since this summer, she has also been performing as a stand-up comedienne. When she's not on stage, she sits at the piano and performs musical cabaret.

FUK is dedicated to the uncomfortable topics of life with ukuleles, singing and a good dose of self-irony. Content warning: The contributions touch on sensitive topics such as sexualized violence.

JEN.NA provides danceable energy: to mark International Women's Day, she - as part of the FLINTA DJ collective SASSY and Nr.z.P. - brings an indie set full of feminist power to the decks. Between classics and new voices, a space for visibility, strength and musical diversity will be created.
