Wisecräcker + The Modbirds

30 years of noise and love
Wisecräcker are 30 years old! That means they've been around longer than the Beatles and almost (almost!) as long as the Stones! Since 1996, the seven men from Hanover and Stockholm have been touring the world to get legs moving in front of stages with their very own mixture of ska and punk. It doesn't matter whether they are on the road in Mexico, the USA, Europe or Russia, the full-throttle offbeat party of Germany's most international ska-punk band always works everywhere. Four horns, a powerful push from behind and lyrics in Spanish, English or German are still their unmistakable trademark today. Or as Bucket from The Toasters puts it: "Wisecräcker is the best band I've never played with!". And he should know!
In 2026, Wisecräcker will be celebrating their anniversary with the "30 Years of Noise & Love" tour, during which they will be stopping off at twelve selected clubs across the country and turning them inside out. As attitude is an inseparable part of their music, one more thing needs to be said: Wisecräcker don't like Nazis and are all for looking out for and caring for each other.

The Modbirds

The band was founded in 2023 and consists of members of Los Placebos and The Porters. This combination brings with it a wealth of stage experience and an explosive mix of danceable ska and infectious punk. Their live debut at the "Ska im Westend" festival in Dortmund proved that they are here to stay. Good humor, catchy melodies and powerful horns guarantee a sweat-inducing live performance.
