Everything points to a perfect first date between Beg (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell). The chemistry is right and it seems clear that much more could develop from the exciting first crackle between the two. But then something happens that not only makes this possibility seem remote, but unthinkable. The dream of a future together is shattered. But fate has other plans and brings the two together again - as guests at a wedding in Australia, of all places. They spontaneously decide to pretend to be a couple.
