Those who like to cook with fresh regional ingredients will find a huge selection here. Whether cherries and apricots, pumpkins and cauliflower, kohlrabi and carrots: Most of the produce on offer is always in season. The stallholders are happy to provide information about the origin of the produce, and there is often a little chat about preparation and recipes. The weekly market gives shopping a personal touch.

The weekly market takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays from 07:00 to 12:30 in the monastery garden. It is easy to reach by city bus due to its direct proximity to the central bus station, and there are numerous parking options. A visit to the weekly market can also be easily combined with other errands in the city.
