About Mimi:
Mimi has known since she was a child that she would become a pop star. Concerts in front of her parents and a few thousand cuddly toys to the soundtrack of THE BEATLES, DAVID BOWIE and ABBA started early on. Who would have thought back then that the dream of one day making and performing her own music would soon become a reality? In 2019, Mimi and her younger sister Josy won the casting show THE VOICE KIDS.
Although making music together gives the sisters an incredible amount of joy and they inspire each other, they both quickly realized that they also wanted to release their own music as soloists. For Mimi, writing songs feels like writing in a diary.
Her songs are usually written in her bedroom, where the guitar or piano are her first audience. She reveals herself completely in her lyrics and uses music to give free rein to her emotions, thoughts and feelings. She sings about being human, about love and the beautiful and less beautiful moments in everyday life. Through her honest lyrics, she makes herself vulnerable and touches the hearts of her audience.
