Time for the coziest poetry slam in the entire Ruhr region!

In the usual living room atmosphere, poets come together with their self-written texts and vie for the audience's favor. There are no content guidelines, so the performances are as varied as the performers themselves. It will be funny, lyrical, personal, political, touching, you name it! The main thing is to bring it to the stage in 6 minutes without props. The jury, chosen at random from the audience, decides who goes through to the final and wins the competition!

The Wohnzimmerslam has been organizing poetry slams in the Ruhr area for over 10 years. Each edition features new performers, but with an established warmth. Everyone should feel welcome and comfortable in our rooms, an awareness person is available for questions, criticism and emotional support and we want to create a cozy atmosphere in which everyone can participate in culture - just as they are (cute, cool and wonderful)!
