In keeping with the motto "This is the sound of summer in Weinheim", the city marketing department of the city of Weinheim is once again organizing a series of music events in the middle of the pedestrian zone to enliven the city centre. From May, on the first Saturday of each month, nationally renowned musicians will play several sets, unplugged and up close, during the main shopping hours from 11 am to 2 pm.
In addition to musical enjoyment, food and drink are also provided. Visitors can expect a beer stand from and with the Woinemer Hausbrauerei brewery and wines served by WINEheim. Of course, both also have non-alcoholic drinks in their repertoire. Coffee specialties from bevi bene round off the offer. As in previous years, Marc Stockmann will also be serving original Thuringian bratwurst from the grill.
This informal and varied music format, which offers people in Weinheim's city center great summer sounds at no admission charge, is made possible by the generous support of Hinkel Immobilien and the Beltz publishing group, both based in Weinheim.
On Saturday, May 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., country all-round artist Danny Wünschel will open the musical summer season at Windeckplatz with his diverse repertoire.
