An evening full of musical surprises awaits visitors to the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum: on Saturday, October 21, 2025, saxophonist Wolf Codera will be coming to the Turbinenhalle at the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum with his successful project Session Possible.

What began as a spontaneous idea during a musical tour with Anna-Maria Kaufmann and Peter Hofmann has long since established itself as a permanent fixture on the German music scene: In Wolf Codera's Session Possible, top-class international professional musicians from rock, pop, soul, jazz and classical music meet young talents to bring well-known songs to the stage live in completely new interpretations. The highlight: the artists only meet on the day of the event and work together under the musical direction of Wolf Codera to create an extraordinary program - without full rehearsals, but with all the more spontaneity, passion and musical creativity.

Two live sets of 45 minutes each, interrupted by a short break, offer the audience a varied musical experience: emotional ballads, groovy soul and pop numbers or rocking sounds - each performance is a unique experience full of energy and surprises. Wolf Codera attaches particular importance to providing a platform for up-and-coming talent.

Many established artists, such as percussionist Maximilian "Max" Klaas (who has toured with Nico Santos and Alvaro Soler, among others) and the newly crowned 2025 WDR Jazz Prize winner Simon Oslender, have gained their first important stage experience at Session Possible .
