Neukölln’s action week for nature, sustainability, and the neighborhood—"WONK – Wonderful Places in Neukölln"—kicks off on September 17, 2026, with a garden party.

Through September 27, 2026 , a wide variety of participants will offer a diverse program at various locations throughout the district: activities, workshops, exhibitions,
training sessions, guided tours, and much more. Ten days full of inspiration, discoveries, and encounters—right in the heart of the city!

Wonderful Places in Neukölln are places where sustainability, community, and nature come to life. Places to marvel, discover, and get involved. Green oases for gardening and relaxation. Meeting places for neighbors and community exchange. Creative spaces for reuse, upcycling, and sharing resources.
Whether you want to rediscover nature, meet new people, or gather sustainable ideas
—this week is full of possibilities.

Wonderful Places in Neukölln are valuable places. They show what the future of the city can look like. It’s worth stopping by!

The “WONK: Wonderful Places in Neukölln” action week is a joint project by Neukölln initiatives dedicated to nature, sustainability, and the neighborhood.
