Workshop: Drehscheibe für Einsteiger

Too hot outside? Our workshop stays wonderfully cool! So it’s the perfect place to escape the summer heat for a bit and create something with your own hands.

This workshop is for anyone who’s ever wanted to try working on a potter’s wheel. Together, we’ll learn the basics of using the wheel—everything you need to make your first pieces. You’ll learn what to keep in mind when centering, opening up the vessel, and building up the walls. By the end of the course, you’ll have mastered the basics of working on the potter’s wheel.

The course fee includes the cost of materials, finishing your pieces, and the cost of the bisque firing. For a small additional fee, we’ll glaze your pieces for you.

Please wear clothing to the course that can get a few clay splatters on it. We also recommend wearing a hair tie if you have long hair.
