Francesca Merolla, originally from Italy, works as a freelance dancer in Cologne, where she collaborates with César José Gutiérrez Salsa and the Dencuentro Collective. Throughout her career, she has danced in various companies and projects, such as the ZfinMalta Dance Ensemble, the Volkstheater Rostock and the Song of the Goat Theatre, and has participated in creations by choreographers such as Ivan Peréz and Elias Lazaridis. Her focus as an artist is on the exploration of authenticity through a physical movement that searches for truth and organicity. She has co-choreographed short pieces that have been performed in Malta, Munich, Belgrade and Berlin. In between the various productions, Francesca also gives workshops and dance classes in Germany, Italy and Poland.
The workshop is designed for all levels of experience.
