WORKSHOP: QUEER BODYLOVE CIRCLE & PHOTO SHOOT by Caro Gugu | dein körper ist genug

Hey, I'm Caro Gugu (she/her) from Kreuzberg. As a systemic coach and safe space photographer , I have been accompanying more than 100 people on their journey to more body acceptance since 2019 - with heart, hips and humor. No more being too fat or too thin, too big or too small... It's time to learn to own our bodies again, to let go of shame and live the life each of us deserves.

Sharing Circle
At the beginning of the Bodylove Circle we will focus on the topic "Queer bodies in the media": stereotypes, representation, positive as well as critical examples and the influence on self-perception. The Circle is open to all thoughts, exchange and sharing of experiences under the principles of respect, appreciation, confidentiality and equality. My experience confirms again and again how important it is to connect with like-minded people, because from every perspective and every wealth of experience we find inspiration that can give our thoughts a positive switch.

The workshop ends with a short journaling session and meditation that can help us connect to our bodies. Afterwards you have the opportunity to book a free photo shoot slot with me, which you can reserve via this link .

Free Photo Shoots
As a safe space photographer, my mission is to give you photographs of yourself that show you that you are enough, that your body is enough. Right now. Right here. I take a body-inclusive approach and have the gift of making people feel seen and free after a short time. Whether you need posing assistance or want to move freely in the room, with or without clothes - you decide spontaneously. Glitter, Pride accessories, mirrors, lights and the right music are provided.

As part of Pride Month, I will be giving away 6 free bodylove photo shoot slots with me after the Sharing Circle workshop. Would you like to bring someone with you? Come in pairs or threesomes and do whatever you feel comfortable with in front of my camera.

About me
Born in Stuttgart in 1991, since my studies everything has revolved around the topic of diversity management. Professionally, I spent almost 10 years in human resources until the pandemic gave me the time to devote myself to my passion: Photography. After using my knowledge of human nature for many years as an HR professional, I felt I wanted to reach people on a deeper level. Because I know what it feels like to be discriminated against because of your body or your "difference". Countless diets and attempts to adapt failed until I discovered the valuable tool of photography to finally see my body with loving eyes. Everyone deserves this healing experience. Everyone deserves to love themselves and their body. As the leader of the bodypositivity project Your body is enough , I fight for the visibility of real bodies in the media. Because it's time for us humans to make peace with ourselves, stop judging others and meet each other again.
