Workshop with Elisa Buchterkirchen from the Four Tracks Wilderness School
Our little songbirds have returned from their wintering grounds. Some have traveled long, arduous and dangerous routes, crossing continents and oceans. We welcome the new arrivals and learn about the different species and how to identify them.
We learn to observe
The last early bloomers are on the forest floor and the first green veil has covered the treetops. With open ears, binoculars, identification book and bird cards, we stroll through the spring forest. Once we have spotted a little bird, we sharpen our perception: what can we memorize within seconds before the bird flies on? What features do we pay particular attention to? We use small exercises and games to expand our knowledge of birds.
Duration and meeting point: 6 - 8 p.m., rear barbecue area in Rosental(https://maps.app.goo.gl/Wh5i8pTrXxv2ewCM6)
