With Dr. Philipp von der Saal
In the wilderness, hypothermia is the number one killer! Whether after capsizing with the kayak off the coast, an unexpected downpour in the mountains, injured in the forest or without sleeping bag and sleeping pad in the survival situation: Hypothermia can quickly become life-threatening. That's why keeping warm outdoors is one of the most important survival priorities! In this workshop, you will gain deep insights into the human body and the physics involved in preventing hypothermia and frostbite. You'll also learn how to properly help yourself and others in an emergency, while avoiding threatening mistakes.
