Wortflut Poetry Slam

The stair steps become a grandstand and the promenade becomes an arena—let’s head to the poets’ competition, let’s head to the “Battle of the Arts.” The sun warms your back, and the wind carries the words to your ears. Everyone is invited to join in as, on two (hopefully) sunny summer Sundays, we once again rhyme, listen, and judge to crown the best slam poem of the afternoon. Here, Hamburg’s most talented urban poets will take the audience on a journey through poems and stories in entertaining segments: at the “Wortflut” poetry slam in HafenCity! 

Free admission. 

In case of rain, the event will take place at Hafen.City.Horizonte.!
