A funny plot of land - double reading with Olav Amende and Jascha Riesselmann

Jascha Riesselmann reads from his collection of texts Lustige Hügel. It brings together lyrical, prose and dramatic short texts about everyday life in a small West German town, written during a three-month residency in Steinhagen, Westphalia. The long poem Flurstück 3587/3588. Gedicht auf ein Haus by Olav Amende is a polyphonic cross-section of the almost century-long eventful history of a former civil servant's residence in Gohlis. Both books were published by hochroth Verlag.

For the reading, the duo will collage the two texts together. There will be interchanges, reflections and overlaps. The result is an exciting literary dialog between East and West. After the reading, the two authors invite the audience to a discussion.
