Wortwirbel Outdoor-Lesebühne 🌞 Kurzgeschichten & Poetry am Billestrand

The sun is shining and the Bille is rippling - what could be nicer than texts about blowflies, heartache and stinky wellies? 🌞

Make yourself comfortable on Billestrand and listen to a wild rotation of budding authors and experienced poetry slammers to the sound of birdsong and crown corks. They take it in turns to serve you some texts and stories: Funny, serious, rhymed or even chaotic. Meanwhile, the BOOTsWagen offers you everything you need to moisten your throat, lighten your mood and cool your liver.

This is not a poetry slam! There is no scoring here and the short slam time limit is a thing of the past! Instead, readers have up to 10 minutes for their texts - perfect for pieces that have no place in slams. But don't worry, you can't expect hour-long readings from dusty novels either. The atmosphere is relaxed and every text is given the space it deserves.

ADMISSION IS FREE.

The speakers are of course very happy if you would like to support them after the show with a voluntary donation of 5-10€.

Since the event takes place outdoors, we unfortunately have to cancel the event in case of bad weather 🙁 Anyone who has reserved a free ticket will be notified automatically in this sad case!

Also: The stories deal with partly funny, but also partly very serious topics. This has always been unproblematic so far, but we therefore do not recommend the event for children.
