Wrest are returning to Germany with new music. Word is getting around about this unagitated, deeply poetic Edinburgh indie rock, reminiscent of Frightened Rabbit, We Were Promised Jetpacks or The National, but which has long since taken on its own unmistakable form.

It is hardly surprising that Wrest's music is now not only popular in Scotland, but also across the UK, Europe and the USA, as it is precisely this sound that has taken the band from small stages to sold-out headline shows at the legendary Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow and the iconic Usher Hall in Edinburgh with over 2000 fans each in recent years. The current record "Everything's Nothing Forever Again" continues to go from strength to strength and has recently also brought the band full club shows in Germany and Europe. Perhaps Scotland's most promising independent indie rock export.

The support comes from Alcoholic Faith Mission. After an 8-year break, the Danes are finally showing signs of life again! Founded as an experimental, artistic collective in the 2000s, the band released numerous albums and toured the world, making them very popular in the local music scene. Life and personal circumstances have now reignited the spark to write music and go on tour. New music is on the way and who knows where the journey will take them this time...
