WRITING CLUB IN CHAPTER THREE <3
Are you passionate about writing your own prose or poetry and would like a place where you can regularly exchange ideas about this hobby or your texts with like-minded people? Do you want to write your own novel, but just can't get past the first page and need spaces with people who motivate you to keep writing? Do you have questions about publishing a novel, the publishing industry, finding an agency or studying at a writing institute that you haven't been able to ask anyone before?
Then the new Writing Club at Kapitel Drei is the perfect place for you! Starting on February 20, we'll be opening our doors every third Friday of the month for an evening of sharing lines, characters, plot twists and more.
Hosted by author and content creator Louise K. Böhm (@louschreibt_) and (slam) poet and FLINTA* reading stage host Laura Lynn Meyer (@prostderpoesie), this series of events is designed to bring people who write together. Whether you've already got a publishing contract in the bag, are working on your first short story, or have been letting your words lie dormant in your notes app. Every genre is welcome here :)
The Writing Club is not a traditional workshop, but an open, supportive space for networking, exchanging ideas and writing together. With the help of writing prompts, you can work on your own texts side by side or together, talk about writing processes and share your enthusiasm for language - without pressure to perform, without fixed tasks, but with time, peace and mutual support. Depending on the edition, guests from the literary world will also visit to answer your questions. The aim is to break down barriers within the literary industry and to counter the often-present gatekeeping with a practice of solidarity.
We want to give everyone access to the event and therefore rely on staggered admission prices. For the sake of transparency, we would like to point out that the event is not self-sustaining and that we are dependent on your solidarity and mutual trust. If the ticket price is a barrier for you, please send us an email to noah@kapiteldrei-hamburg and we will find a solution. You do not have to provide proof.
Procedure:
Chapter Three is unfortunately not barrier-free. There are steps for which there are ramps. The rooms are very cramped when fully occupied. If you need certain support measures or have other questions about barriers, please contact us by e-mail and we will try to make individual adjustments possible.
We look forward to seeing you!
Yours Laura & Lou

ENGLISH VERSION
Have you been writing your own prose or poetry for years and are looking for a place to
regularly connect with others about this sometimes lonely passion-or your texts?
Do you want to write a novel but can't get past the first page and need a space to feel
motivated to keep writing? Do you have urgent questions about publishing, the literary industry, finding an agent, or studying at a writing institute that you haven't been able to ask anyone yet?
Then our new Writing Club at Kapitel Drei is your place to be! Starting February 20, we'll
open our doors every third Friday of the month for a whole evening dedicated to writing.
Hosted by author and content creator Louise K. Böhm (@louschreibt_) as well as (slam)
poet and host of FLINTA*-Lesebühne Laura Lynn Meyer (@prostderpoesie), the Writing
Club aims to bring writers together through this monthly creative writing series-
whether you already have a publishing contract or just finished crafting your first short
story, regardless of genre or experience level.
The Writing Club is not a traditional workshop, but an open, supportive space to
network, exchange, and write together. You can work side by side or collaboratively on
your own texts, talk about writing processes, and share your love for language. Without
pressure or fixed assignments, at Writing Club we take our time and support each other
mutually. Depending on the program, guests from the literary world may join to answer
your questions. Our goal is to break barriers within the literary industry and counter
gatekeeping with a practice of solidarity.
We want to make the event accessible to everyone and therefore offer sliding-scale
pricing. For transparency, please note that the event does not cover its own costs, so we
rely on your solidarity and mutual trust. If the ticket price is a barrier for you, feel free to email us in advance at noah@kapiteldrei-hamburg and we'll find a solution-no proof required.
Schedule:
Unfortunately, Chapter Three is not fully accessible. There are three steps at the entrance,
and another two steps between the first and second room. Also, the rooms can become
quite narrow when full. If you need individual accommodations or support measures
(e.g. sensory-friendly adjustments), or have questions about barriers, please contact us
via email or DM in advance and we'll do our best to find a solution.
We're looking forward to seeing you!
Laura & Lou
