WUZA? That sounds mysterious, or dubious, or maybe just wondrous and magical at the same time? No matter. WUZA first manifested itself in May 2016, when a handful of mysterious islanders appeared in Berlin and immediately put down roots. Their mission: to conquer places and spaces for music that triggers tidal waves of joy, thanks to a unique blend of deep technoid sounds that gripped everyone present and downtempo sets that sent souls into peaceful euphoria. The plan worked: WUZA regularly makes the capital's inhabitants scurry and fidget and forget their everyday worries.

The same is set to work for the first time at the Palais on July 12. WUZA ambassadors Tom Cordes and Raphael Hofman have traveled south especially for the event. Tom loves electronic music with plenty of steam, rolling basslines, groovy arrangements and playful, trancy melodies. In 2017, he started producing his own tracks and performed with the DJ duo "Tour øf Soul". Since 2022, he has been on the road as a solo artist with psychedelic, intoxicating high-energy music in Berlin's nightlife and regularly plays clubs such as Sisyphos or Wilde Renate.

His colleague Raphael Hofman was born in Aachen, but moved to the big B up on the Spree. He is now one of the shining personalities of the electronic music scene in Berlin, creating innovative compositions and captivating sound experiences across genre boundaries and making a name for himself among the spotlights with cross-border performances. Over the years, he has honed his skills on synthesizers and drum machines and experimented with different styles. The quintessence of his releases (including Wuza Records) and sets are elements of techno, ambient, experimental music and classical music, which he seamlessly combines to create a captivating tapestry of sound.

Newcomer Franziska aka Nenun picks up the thread at the beginning of the evening, before the Berlin visitors take to the decks. She has lived in Munich since 2020 and rediscovered her love of melodic techno there. She started teaching herself to DJ in 2021 and has since played at several events. In her melodic sets between indie dance, dark disco and melodic techno, she conveys joie de vivre and lightness, but doesn't forget to add plenty of drive with bouncy, dirty beats.
