Xeno & Oaklander + Support: Sacred Skin

Xeno & Oaklander are a minimal electronic/synth-pop duo (Liz Wendelbo and Sean McBride of Martial Canterel) from Brooklyn, New York. Active as artists since 2004 (the release of their debut LP "Vigils"), their extensive touring and prolific output has helped promote and inspire the revival of synth-wave in the US and around the world.

Xeno & Oaklander are known for recording and performing exclusively with analog synthesizers. Their now eighth and most recent record "Via Negativa" (release date: 11/15/2024) was recorded in the fall of 2023 in their modernist Connecticut home, which was converted into a two-story synthesizer lab and studio. The album is uniquely visionary in spirit and precise in execution, a contrast crucial to the duo's enduring chemistry.
